Education and Experience
Dr. Mark Wallace received his undergraduate education from Cornell University and the University of West Virginia. He graduated from Howard University Dental School in 1971 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
He has been in private practice as a general dentist since 1974 and is now treating second-generation patients and their families. His association with various professional organizations distinguishes Dr. Wallace's career. In addition to being recently honored with "Life Membership" to the American Dental Association, he has memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, and the Maryland State Dental Society. He is also a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is actively involved in the Potomac Valley and Progressive Dental Study Clubs. He has a special interest in implant dentistry.
Outside the Office
Dr. Wallace also has a love for animals and fish which is legendary. The saltwater fish tank in the office is a great source of pleasure and relaxation to him and our patients. He and his wife, Janet, have four grown children. His newest role is proud Grandpa to his grandsons, Eli and Brandon!
